Getting the House ready to sell

The first thing the real estate lady said was to 'declutter the house' so it looks bigger. Now to declutter means putting in storage the following items.
  • Anything smaller than a basketball
  • anything that you may want to use in the next week
  • anything that is useful
  • anything that is 'not in' at the moment
  • Two thirds of your clothes from the closets so they 'look bigger'.
  • Any shelves, tools, saws, or other items you may need to get the house ready.
  • Your comfy lounge chair

I think you get the picture. Then you have to change the light fixtures that are 'out of date' even if you bought it in the last year. Oh, and don't forget to paint ALL of the rooms in the house the same dull, tan (not grey), neutral color.

Then you have to rearrange how your furniture is situated. This is called 'staging'. Now all of this will guarantee that you will sell your house quickly (maybe, if the right person comes along sooner than later and they like the dull color everthing is):).

So that is how to do it. I'll let you know how it works.
